As a girl from Florida, my temperature criteria for summer weather is higher than average. I can now officially proclaim that this weekend has felt very summery in L.A. I’ve geared up with the following:

Since I first moved out of Florida I had sworn off flip flops as sloppy shoes that make your feet dirty, but this season I couldn’t resist a pair of good old fashioned California Rainbows.

My final summer obsession is the miracle known as soak-off gel nail lacquer. I am a busy lady who has to find keys in my purse, type, do dishes, pry open soda can lids, and much more. These activities wreak havoc on a normal manicure, but I am 2 weeks into my OPI Axxium Bastille My Heart manicure and the color hasn’t budged. My nails grow fast and it’s definitely time to visit the salon,  but I am SO impressed with this system that I had to cheer about it!
